When people think of Africa, they think of wild animals and safaris. The Massai Mara National Reserve in Kenya is one of the top 10 tourist attractions in Africa, and every tourist has a drastically different experience when they visit it. It is renowned for its Big Five, and the annual willow migration. From there, you can reach the Serengeti National Park and game reserves in Tanzania.

In the heart of one of Nigeria's most bustling cities, Lagos, far from the city's usual businesses, is the Lekki Conservative. Kilimanjaro
, Tanzania, is by far the highest mountain in Africa and one of the magnificent places of interest in Africa.According to National Geographic, it is the largest free mountain in the world and is located about 5,895 meters (19,340 feet) above sea level. It is about 4,900 meters (16,100 feet) above the base of its plateau. Every year, Kilimanjaro attracts thousands of tourists who come to see the well-known Kilimanjaro. The Great Pyramids are said to be man's greatest architectural achievements.
They are the world's only surviving wonder and date back to the 26th century (c., 2575-c). Lake Abbe, commonly known as Lake Abhe Bad, is an alkaline lake that lies within the border between Ethiopia and Djibouti. It is about 15 km wide and 14 km long. Topping the list of the best places to visit in Africa for many safari tourists is the Serengeti. It is the largest and oldest national park in Tanzania and listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
This is largely because it hosts the most spectacular annual wildlife migration in the world with up to two million wilderness and tens of thousands of zebras. The vast plains are home to the largest population of lions in Africa estimated at 3,000 individuals. It is probably the most reliable place in East Africa for cheetahs while leopards are regularly observed in the central Seronera Valley. Other common wild animals include elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, spotted hyenas, eared foxes and a wide variety of antelopes. Essentially the Kenyan counterpart to the Serengeti, Masai Mara is equally rewarding when it comes to watching games. Big cats are its star residents with herds of up to 20 lions taking center stage.
It's also a good place to see cheetahs and leopards as well as elephants, buffaloes, giraffes and with a little more luck black rhinoceroses. The Masai Mara triumphs between the end of July and beginning of October when hundreds of thousands of willow trees arrive from Serengeti to cross Mara River -the most spectacular part of annual migration. One of best places to visit in Africa for a driverless safari is Kruger National Park which would need at least two weeks to explore in its entirety. Most people focus on south due to its proximity to Johannesburg but more remote north is where you want to go if you want to get off beaten path. Kruger is home to 147 species of mammals -the most of any other African national park- including prodigious populations of Big Five as well as cheetahs hippos zebras giraffes wild boars baboons and more than 20 species of antelopes. It's also home to 517 species of birds.
