Population

At this time, there are 54 countries in Africa. I say “at this time” because currently, there are a few territories that are trying to become independent. As of July 9, 2011, South Sudan separated itself making it the 54th country. Somaliland and Western Sahara are the two present countries that are fighting to do this as well. While a few countries have it made with the production of gold, there are others that can be vlassified as the poorest in the world. In fact, the top ten poorest countries in the world are all located in Africa. In this article, we will go in depth on the countries in Africa by location along with the population and the capital.
